Randifer Web Design is now using Joomla 1.5 as their content management system.
Joomla is a full content management system that lets site owners make changes to their articles and pages without any coding knowledge.
Joomla is also part of the Open Software movement where many components are available for free or for only a small charge.
This reduces our customers costs, while keeping them fully standards compliant. The Joomla community has made thousands of templates, modules and extensions available for free, amd many companies provide expanded functionality for reasonable costs.
Although using this product does require more careful planning of the web site at the beginning of the process, the ability to provide websites that are standards driven, and can be maintained in large part by the customers themselves once the initial implementation is complete is a big advantage to our customers. There are currently over 100,000 Joomla websites running on the internet, including blogs, business sites, auction sites, e-commerce and more.
Joomla will allow our customers to maintain their websites without the use of any tools other than an internet connection.
