The cost of a web site is dependant on what you as a customer want.  A simple web presence is different than an e-commerce site or a membership site.  Components may be sourced from existing modules and customized, or developed from scratch depending on what best fits a budget, as well as a site functionality requirement. 

It is important that the site design be well thought out in advance, and because of this, we prefer that our clients take the time to consider all aspects of their site design and rationalize the feature set, content, and platform before pricing is considered.

Regardless, a clients budget is an important factor in the entire process.  RWD generally works on a fixed cost per job rate, and initial site discussions and basic layouts are never billable.  Our prices are among the best in the industry because our overhead is low and we make judicious use of open source software and tools to keep the costs to you, our clients, as reasonable as possible. 

Nor do we charge our existing clients for basic consultation after the fact.  These ways of operating have allowed us to find a loyal following with many of our clients who have come to depend on us as a sounding board for ideas.
